We can assess a child's cognitive, social, emotional, or motor progress, and make sure they're on track to becoming a healthy adult. Interventions can be developed that can help children with learning difficulties, or ones that have deficits in certain areas, professional help can be tailored according to the specific needs of the child by being informed with what the latest research says will help them best. Couples who want to be parents can provide a nurturing environment for their kids by diving into the dearth of human wisdom on the subject and mitigating factors that can stunt their baby's development, and maximising the factors - whether it's routines the parents can follow, education programs their offspring can take, or a better understanding …show more content…
Unlike Behavioural theories, Bandura believed that the conditioning and reinforcement process could not account for the entirety of human learning. For example, how can the conditioning process account for learned behaviors that have not been reinforced through classical conditioning or operant conditioning?
Observation and Modeling is also responsible for a huge amount of learning according to social learning theory. Children develop new skills and acquire new information, by observing the actions of others, including parents and peers.
People can learn by listening to verbal instructions about how to perform a behaviour as well as through observing either real or fictional characters display behaviors in books or films. Observation does not always take place by looking at a real life model in front of you.

Neurological research shows that babies begin to learn about the world even before they are born (weeks before their birth). Learning occurs in the prenatal, perinal and post natal period.
