Anywhere we look we are likely to see an advertisement. Advertisement is meant to draw are attention and subliminal get people to buy all different types of products by using ethos, locos, and pathos. Alba Botanica has taken this one step further to starting a campaign related to doing good for yourself and others. Alba Botanicas advertisement is effective at persuading its target audience to purchase their new Hawaiian detox scrub with volcanic clay by using ethos, locos, and pathos.
Alba Botanicas advertisement is one page, mostly black and white. Your attention goes first to the upper left side of the page theirs a lovely woman snuggling her face next to a fluffy dog. Big, bold, white lettering fills most of the page. Including, Alba Botanica products are 100% vegetarian, with no animal testing, and sulfa free. Alba Botanica also appeals to logic by providing testimonial of Hilary Benda. Hilary Benda is a rescue dog activist and plants trees to save the planet. The logic fallacies are, if you buy Alba Botanica products then you will help save abandoned dogs, and save the planet one tree at a time. #DoGoodDoBeautiful and be a part of saving ignored dogs and saving the planet. Alba Botanica is making a huge stretch comparing rescue dogs and planting trees to their new botanically based, cruelty free product. Alba Botanica advertisement is effective at persuading its target audience to purchase their new Hawaiian detox scrub with volcanic clay by using ethos, locos, and pathos.
