Alaska State Fair Research Paper

Walking through the crowds at the Alaska State Fair I was faced with the realization that not only were both of my children missing, but I had to come up with a plan to find them. My plan was to find out when they disappeared, who to contact, and where to begin looking. As a parent, losing your child is one of the scariest moments to endure. Even if it’s for 5 seconds, it can be the longest 5 seconds ever. It’s every parent’s nightmare, but it can happen to anybody. Walking through the crowds at the Alaska State Fair I was faced with the realization that not only were both of my children missing, but I had to come up with a plan to find them. My plan was to find out when they disappeared, who to contact, and where to begin looking. I was coming out of the bathrooms and saw my husband and my mom, and realized my kids were nowhere to be found. All I could think about is when they could have disappeared, or where they could have taken a wrong turn, maybe even gotten off a ride and gone the wrong way. They could have even walked off with someone else who could have been wearing almost the same thing as me as they were thinking it was me or an adult we were with and not paying attention. …show more content…
I was looking for security, I figured they would know their way around the fair and all the places to look. Secondly I called my parents, my dad didn’t answer but my mom and husband did. We split up and looked everywhere and every place possible, we were doing laps while yelling their names. We went to almost every single fair employee we could. Security let the gates know, and gave them a description of my kids, what they had on, how my daughter’s hair was put up, and even the color bow in her hair. We continued to look
