Al Qaeda is a large terrorist organization that is based in Afghanistan. Al Qaeda was led by Osama Bin Laden, however ,since his death, the organisation is now led by Ayman al-Zawahiri. Al Qaeda has been linked to a number of attacks, such as the 1993 World Trade Centre attack in New York city, and the September 11 attacks at the World Trade Centre. Al Qaeda also has key roles in a number of terrorist attacks around the world, including the 77 attacks as Al Qaeda claimed responsibility via Al Jazeera. It is key to part of a terrorist group like Al Qaeda for resources and money to carry out attacks
