The book “Bone” is a comedy, high fantasy. It has 136 pages or 6 chapters. Jeff Smith wrote the book “Bone’’. I chose to read this because I have read all the other ones and they are easy to read.
This book takes place in a town called Bonneville. It is spring time. In time most of the story takes place in the woods. Because that's where they are always running into the creatures.
The main character of the book is a little bone called Fone Bone. Fone is a bone that helped his cousin Phoney Bone get out of the town Bonneville. With the help of his other cousin Smiley Bone. They get lost or split out and think they will find each other in a town called Barrelhaven.

Because the bones are good and trying to find each other. When the rats are trying to kill the bones. The bones are always helping other people in which they get offers back from helping them. So there for the bones are the good guys. But the rat creatures aren't.
The author of this book uses many metaphors like “The log weighs a ton.’’ Or similes
Like “The snow falls like a butterfly landing on your nose.” The author uses thoes similes and metaphors to grab the attention of the reader. When the winter time comes the reader use the simile “The snow falls like a butterfly landing on your nose.” They used those similes and metaphors because it's explaining how the log weighs a ton or that the snow falls soft.
I personally would give this book a 4 star rate because it and easy book to read in case you need to read something in a couple of days. The book is not an inspirational book. It just a funny book u can read. This book uses similes just like a comedy book would do to make others read it. But I enjoyed reading this
