Ajax Whitmire Theory

A long time ago, there were big sailing ships on the river. One night in a storm, a big ship sank. All the lanterns on board were lit as the ship went down. Now, they say that on stormy nights you can still hear the flame of the lanterns being extinguished as they clashed with the water, at exactly 11 O’ clock. There have also been sightings of ghostly figures roaming on the nearest shores or shadowy figures laying on pieces of debris afloat in the enormous body of water.
Reports of this happening have been reported quite a few times over the years, and creepily enough it’s usually by younger children. Some people say this is because younger children have a stronger connection with spectres. Others say it’s because these ghostly figures target younger children due to the fear factor.

Some say that it was just a simple accident, one of those rare ship crashes. Others say it was something more, such as the ship being already haunted.
The most popular theory is that the first captain of the ship, Nicolas Whitmire. He built the very ship himself, and named it the Sea Eagle II, after his father’s ship before him. He first set sail in 1826, and his ship was on it’s way to New England from the Americas. It would be a six month trip, so him and his crew of fifteen men prepared themselves. Legend says that when they were near Portugal when the ship was said to have ran into a rock protruding out of the sea. It split directly in half and all of the crew

My opinion about the Edmund Fitzgerald is that it sank because of the Three Sisters which was that carried 26,000 gross tons of taconite pellets on it. Captain Ernest McSorley of the Fitzgerald had another ship called the Anderson which was another freighter. The Three Sisters is the one out of four theories on how the fitzgerald sank. I chose the three sisters because Fitzgerald did start taking water because the Fitzgerald said that they “lost a rail, lost or damaged two vents and a list…” my opinion is strong on how the edmund Fitzgerald sank. The reason I picked the three sisters is because there was a storm and the waves were 18-25 feet high and if one of the rails were missing the ship was already and there was a monstrous wave that…

The Golden Age of Piracy is the subject of many Hollywood films. One of the most popular series among them in recent years is the series Pirates of the Caribbean. But how accurately this film portrays and captures the way the Golden Age of Piracy spanned from the 2650’s to the 1730’s is important in many different ways. In order to answer this question, my team of researchers and I will examine how accurately myths or superstitions, real life pirates, weapons, and the pirate code were presented in the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean the Black Pearl. Myths and superstitions were historically accurate because even though they were portrayed in different ways, they still represented each myth, especially the Flying Dutchman.…

White experienced when he was a child. “Then the kettle drum, then the snare, then the bass drum and cymbals, then crackling light against the dark, and the gods grinning and licking their chops in the hills.” Is a metaphor that describes the sound the darkening sky is creating. Then it became calm and the rain was steadily rustling in the calm lake. “As he buckled the swollen belt suddenly my groin felt the chill of death.”, this quote is a symbolic reference of rebirth.…
