Airport Research Paper

It was the first day of summer vacation, and school had just ended. I had just finished the second grade. The clock had just hit 3 a.m. when I woke to the sounds of my parents using the bathroom getting ready to leave for the airport. Rubbing my eyes as I stood up from my bed, I remember feeling a breeze as I tried to leave my bed. Not wanting to leave my bed after feeling the breeze my mind told me stay in bed so I did and fell back to sleep. My father came by a couple minutes later and woke me up in an unpleasant manner that made me jump out of bed and get ready quickly as well as my younger sister. Once I had gotten ready my uncle showed up at my house with his pickup truck, ready to drop us off at the airport. Upon arriving at the airport we had stopped by a restaurant in New Brunswick, NJ for some breakfast. After finishing eating we arrived at Newark, NJ where we would take the airport. The trip took around seven hours and I was bored out of my mind. Thinking we finally made it and no more traveling until we left but I thought wrong. The time was around 2 p.m. and my parents were looking for my grandparents around the airport until we finally found them. It was the first time I had met my grandparent and they were really excited to see me and my sister as well as us. After only talking on the phone with them I finally met them. From the airport, we took a taxi to a bus. We still had another twelve hours to travel on the bus to get to my grandparents home. When I finally got my to grandparent house I noticed they lived on a ranch which was something different from what I’m used to seeing. As I got out the car there were sounds of rooster crowing that just got annoying there was a lot of kids surrounding me asking me to play with them. My parents laughed as they told “they are your
