Think about what it is like to live in a world where you can get sick from just breathing air, the air that you breathe every single day since the day you were born. Imagine one day having to walk outside wearing a mask for the rest of your life to make sure you don 't get sick. Even worse, imagine looking out of your window and not seeing any form of life. Everything has died due to air pollution and acid rain. This paper is here to talk about an issue that is becoming a huge problem around the world. Air Pollution is a major problem facing our government today. It is harmful to every living creature. This topic is a major problem in many places, especially in China. The economy of China has been increasing the amount of factories that produce pollution. “Since China has been increasing factories China 's economy has been in a environmental decline.”(.travelchinaguide) An environmental decline is when in Physical Geography the land starts wearing down due to water, wind, or ice. China is responsible for a third of the planet 's greenhouse gas output and has sixteen of the world 's twenty most polluted cities. Life expectancy in the north has decreased by 5.5 years due to air pollution, and severe water contamination. There are many causes of air pollution. China is struggling to contain air pollution, but they are not successful. Some causes of air pollution can come from a volcanic eruption or even by humans. “Some air pollution come directly from a source, like sulfur dioxide from factories”. (Ellis,2015) While on the other hand, some have to interact with somethin to become air pollution also known as smog. Air pollution Is very dangerous and leads to severe problems with people, animals and our environment, An effect that air pollution has would be on people, air pollution will affect their respiratory and heart. The main problem would be cancer. “Several millions are known to have died due to direct or indirect effects of Air pollution. Children in areas exposed to air pollutants are said to commonly suffer from pneumonia and asthma.” (conserve-energy-future,2015) Also another effect would be on the wildlife. Animals also are in great danger because of air pollution. The toxic chemicals that the animals are breathing in are as well doing them harm as how those same toxic chemicals do harm to humans.Due to the toxic chemicals are in the air it can force the animals to move to a different home and changing their habitat. This toxic pollution does not just only affect animals on land, it can also affect sea animals.The toxic chemicals that are in the air can land on the surface of the water and it affects the sea animals. Another effect that is close to affecting the animals would be global warming.
