The Armed Services are here to help protect their community. There are many different types but, the five main ones are, the Air Force, the National Guard, the Army, the Marine Corps, and finally, the Coast Guard. They all earn different amounts of pay and require different training and schooling. There are benefits to them all that could be life changing. These brave people, are here to help and protect you. They all have different jobs and duties even though, they all help their community.
The Air Force helps us in many different ways and is always there to help protect the sky. The Air Force is here to protect us in the sky. They fly airplanes, helicopters, and help run satellites. They are the eyes in the sky and keep us safe from above. There are many benefits to being in the air force including, health care which, they get about $35,670

Each state has it's own National Guard, which is required, and written in the Constitution. They help with more than just war and/or terrorism, they help in communities by organizing events, going to the events, schools, or trying to get the younger people to join the National Guard. They help people in rough times, like when there is/is going to be a natural disaster. They get paid an average of about $1,570 to $9,530, again, depending on how long they have been in service and where they are ranked.
They Army is full of very brave people who risk their lives for us. They are here to make sure an area is safe for people to live, build, or just walk where they inspected. They get paid about $1,480 to $15,380. They also have many benefits in their life, including federal benefits and state benefits. Some federal benefits include, health care, life insurance, and there are also some family services. Some examples of state benefits are state taxes, schooling (paying for it), employment/unemployment benefits. All of these benefits are helpful to these people because of their
