Air Force Academy The purpose of Air Force Academy high school is to get students ready for college. Getting a quality education is meaningful and worthwhile. For a quality education, it is important to have the proper materials, and adequate teachers that let their students be creative and shine through their work. A quality education must have effective communication between the student and staff. Without the right materials with effective communications and connections, school can become overwhelming and can negatively affect students during school. Paying close attention to students that need help. A student that is making academic progress can get a quality education. Having goals towards this, such as: Getting better communication between the staff and the student. This can help them connect by understanding the students wants and needs during class. A teacher and a student that cannot make time during school, needs to make time after school and freeing up both of their schedules. Having an after school discussion with the teacher can build the students success in school because they are getting a better understanding of the material from class. Teachers can discuss lessons from class in further detail after school, to really “connect” with the student. By talking to a student with their problems and their success after school every month with the principal, this ensures them to talk about the problems they have during school, so that these problems do not get in the way of school, and leads a better communication where they both can find a solution. Another goal is to have better materials, to teach students a better way to learn. (but of course while being an enthusiastic teacher!) If students are diverse learners, having a translator during class can help while the teacher explains the reading during class. Every student learns in a different way. If drawing things out for a student is better, a teacher can encourage them to learn do this in class by giving out drawings of the class discussions to help them understand. Even for a diverse student, handing them papers translated for them can help them understand the reading. Students that need to write long papers on a computer might need help.
