To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is the beginning. Aviation is a big world of majors such as aeronautical science, meteorology, and air traffic management. College of aviation at Embry-riddle aeronautical university is one of the best in the aviation education industry. Recently, ERAU staff has uploaded an introductory video about the college of aviation. That video provides many facts and information about the school. In addition, the tape offered shows professors and graduate students talk about the college. Anyway, they focused on just one major which consider it as a weak video. School of aviation ad shows the logos, ethos, and pathos in an efficient way, but they could have done better if they talked about other majors as well. First of all, if you want to evaluate this kind of videos you should look at the uses of evidence and logical statements in the ad. For instance, they have mentioned that they have a fleet of 70 aircraft. Which shows the level of professionalism that ERAU holds. Addition …show more content…
First, it shows one professor says: “Safety comes number one priority of the entire university”. When you hear something like that make you feel safe and trust ERAU more. second, they show many aeronautical science students talks about how ERAU helped them so far to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, we did not see any other student or professor who’s in a different field than aeronautical science talks about their majors. If that ad shows a commercial space operation’s student talk or a meteorology professor who can grab audience’s attention with a trusted word it would be better. Further, the students who talked into the video they did not mention what kind of obstacles they had in their academic career.
