Major Aims of Education Of all the functions and purposes a school can serve, I believe that it is the primary purpose of a school to maintain a safe learning environment that all students are given the chance to grow. Students should be able to develop physically, emotionally, and finally intellectually. It is our goal to help guide students along the way by providing the highest quality paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, and counselors, that strive to grow themselves to be able to meet the high demands of the students. It is the job of the principal to build a positive school culture as a standard for a principal (2.1) boost morale among staff and students, while they have effective instructional program (2.2) and the encouragement of the use of the best practices. (2.3) States that the principal in help in the development of teachers so that students most current and effective instructional strategies. (2.4) It is the job of the principal to encourage teachers to seek out professional development and then allow the teachers to implement the new strategies that they have been taught. The principal should also give strong and constructive feedback during the evaluation process. I think that the first thing that I want to be able to do to make this a reality is to establish a safe learning environment. I believe that it is important for two reasons the first being that students need to be able to focus on their education and should never have to worry about their personal safety. The second reason is that I believe that students do their best work when they are in the less restrictive environment that promotes intellectual and academic security. To achieve this students need to feel safe in being able to ask questions, take academic risks, and be able to engage in debate without fearing that they will face ridicule from the instructor or their peers. I believe that the quickest way for this sense of security to be felt is for the principal to establish a strong sense of community that involves the faculty, students, and staff. To achieve this goal I believe that I must be a Servant Leader, “servant leadership focuses on the behaviors leaders should exhibit to put followers first and to support followers’ personal development. It is concerned with how leaders tread subordinates and the outcomes that are likely to emerge.” (Northhouse, 2013) A community-based
