Agriculture is the most important part of starting a nation .If done correctly there should be a surplus of food and the people can focus on more important task like art, culture and expansion like ancient Egyptians. If agriculture is done incorrectly it could lead to the deaths of millions and a complete collapse of a nation like Ireland in 1845. America didn’t know it but they were slowly neglecting their main source of food. Obstacles like the railroad corporations, surplus, and high interest rates made it more difficult for American farmers to thrive. With overwhelmingly rapid advancements in technology people could forget to keep on track with the essentials.
