The case study most important to me is the one about the six-year-old girl named Agnessa. She was adopted by an American family. She is from Russia. She struggles academically and has behavior problems in school and outside of school.
Through the material presented it shows the link between the struggle of Agnessa due to her upbringing. Additionally, she has a lot going on and it appears she did not have stability during her younger years. Furthermore, it appears that her behavior is calling out for help and her limited literacy skills hinder her academic progress. Moreover, teachers need to acknowledge and address her background and find out the reason she is having a difficulty in her linguistic skills and falling behind academically.
