It can possibly increase success and quality in several different aspects of your life. It is significant as if you’re unhappy yourself, it is likely you will be unmotivated to continue on with facets of your very existence. They could be achievements, relationships, leisure activities, and so on. Why should it be a priority for you to make others happy especially if they do not return it themselves. It appears to be a rather toxic way of living, in my personal opinion. As previously mentioned, putting yourself first can improve your value of living. That’s not to say you should only put yourself first and ignore others, but it is likely others will not appreciate you the same way you appreciate them if you do not applicate this

Throughout my journey in Eng. 621 we have studied many different plays, short stories, essays, and novels. There were a lot of lessons in each piece that we looked over but the one that stuck out to me was the topic of “fear”. In the play of “Macbeth” written by no other than Shakespeare, the fear of getting caught really motivated Macbeth to continue down the wrong path and inevitably led him to his foreseeable death. In the documentary “The Armstrong Lie” Lance was so afraid to lose the Tour De France that he turned to drugs to enhance his performance which eventually ended his career in cycling forever.…

The most ironic thing about aging is wishing you were a certain age. I look back at when I was younger and think of how stupid I was for wanting to be older, because I didn’t know how stressful it can be. These days all I want is to be young again and not have a care in the world. While my elementary days were much simpler, I now see how blind I was, not everything was sunshine and rainbows. I would say the “hardest” thing about these times were going between my mom and dad.…

When I think of my personal happiness I think of myself living a pleasing life, having a career with a great income, being wealthy and teaching my kids the right way to do something and not the wrong. Being nice and considerate of other people will take you a long way in life. But everyone’s definition of happiness does not consist of the same thing. Someone else’s definition of happiness could be to grow old with their significant other and move far away to a secluded, private island drinking mimosas all-day. Other people dream of becoming a big rap star, pop artist or dancer and going on tour with millions of fans screaming their name.…
