Businesses environment now has completely change base in a global, rapidly changing environment. They have to respond to new opportunities and markets, transformational of global economies and competing products and services world marketplaces. Software is become the engine of business operations so need of high quality which are developed quickly to take advantage of new opportunities and competition. Faster development and delivery become part and parcel in software.
Agile methodologies have changed the field of Software Development since the introduction of the Agile Manifesto. It adopted by wide number of companies for more effectively develop software and meet customer’s expectations faster and better than with the most of old approach.

The analysis from table below show that based form various range of project size agile has greater success than failure with successful 39%, and failed 9% of all project, unlike for waterfall with successful 11%, and failed 29% of all. This indicates Agile has great success than waterfall. From medium to small size agile has worked well than water fall except on larger project which found that agile project which are failed are 23% and successful are 18% though it not a bad gap. Also on comparator analysis it based on size of projects from small size, medium size and larger size all agile show success on score where Agile 58%, 27% and 18 while waterfall have 44%, 7% and 3% respectively. This indicates Agile is more successful than others.

The Manifesto and The Principles of Agile Software Development.
The agile manifesto provide principles which all methodologies of agile adopted i.e Extreme Programming, SCRUM, DSDM, Adaptive Software Development, Crystal, Feature-Driven Development, Pragmatic Programming. The manifesto based on emphasize individuals and interactions are more important over processes and tools, that the working software has the advantage over documentation, that customer collaboration is more beneficial than contract negotiation, and that responding to change is better than following a plan.

The Agile alliance defines 12 principal for those who want to achieve agility:
1. Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous deliver valuable Software
2. Welcome changing requirements, even late in development. Agile process harness change for customer’s competitive advantage.
3. Delivery working software frequently, from a couple of weeks to couple of months, with a preference to shorter time
