Now, it's understandable that the release of Hitman in episodes may be concerning, though, with this particular title, I think it's important that IO interactive get it right, especially after the disappointment of Absolution where the end product felt rushed and unfinished.

STORY
Ultimately, Hitman "Intro Pack" serves as both a prologue and a sequel to 2012's Hitman: Absolution. The prologue, set in a training facility mimicking a past mission on a boat in Sydney, is primarily a tutorial for those of you new to the series, Its hear where you get to grips with the gameplay mechanics, where you learn to incapacitate guards and employees, disguise yourself, and hide bodies while searching for your primary assassination target.
While that may sound unappealing to veterans of the Hitman series, those of you familiar with agent 47 will still benefit from the opening tutorials as it's here you can practice your assassin skills and replay the mission as many times as you want in order to experience all the different killing techniques.

There's a multitude of different ways to approach each task and you may start to feel overwhelmed by everything in front of you. But Hitman doesn't want you to just pick one way and leave it at that. There's so many different ways to assassinate each target with no right or wrong way to do so.
Inevitably, you will need to disguise yourself as a bodyguard or waiter but in order to do so you'll need to neutralise an employee. Do you subdue each, merely knocking them out, or do you murder them in cold blood? All possibilities when executed feel satisfying and look fantastic when in full effect.
A new feature to the Hitman series is Opportunities. This system presents you with various options to select. You might overhear a guard or guest mention specifics such as your target's schedule or that there's a special guest in the crowd that they will be meeting later in the night. In essence, you're playing detective and it's up to you how to utilise these pieces of information and how best to approach each opportunity.
Though once you have figured out your killing methods, you must be careful how you go about your business as certain staff members will know you don't belong, regardless of your disguise.
