Age Of Extinction: Movie Analysis

Movies have been around for a very long time and certain characters in different films wear different changes of clothes almost every scene depending on the movie. It can be hard to find every different costume in every movie, so this paper will be over costume design in Transformers: Age of Extinction. In Transformers: Age of Extinction the main characters seem like they start to look like more “badass” characters as the movie progresses. Michael Bay, the director of this movie, incorporates many different techniques to make the film not only look sweet, but also to show that this movie could possibly be part of the future. Cade Yeager is a dad who fixed broken equipment for people. He was a specialist in robotics so when it came to transformers he knew what he was doing. Cade Yeager was then a single parent because his wife passed away leaving him with a daughter to care for and love. Cade changed for the best at this point because he knew he had to take care of his daughter by himself. Cade’s daughter Tessa seems to have more an attractive look by the end. Optimus Prime is another one of the main characters and his voice is played by Peter Cullen and throughout the movie Optimus Prime’s voice got deeper and more terrifying. Bumblebee is an auto bot just like Optimus Prime but he doesn’t play a very large role in this movie like he did in the other three transformers movies. Bumblebee started out as an older looking car at the …show more content…
Optimus Prime gets a new paint job about half way through the movie to make him look bright and heroic. Cade Yeager also gets a new “paint job” throughout the movie, referring to his makeup and his clothing style. Throughout the movie the costume design of Cade and Optimus Prime changes for the better, and in the end makes these characters look like

Journal Entry The movie “A Time to Kill” is similar to the classic novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” as a white lawyer is defending an innocent African American man, but the predominantly white jury is the only obstacle that both men have of getting freedom and receiving true justice. The ending is where the two break apart as Carl Lee Hailey is pronounced innocent and gets to live, while Tom Tom Robinson ( still at court but believes that Atticus will fail) dies while trying to escape prison. Both the novel and film depicts how the justice system in the south is not fair as the jury cannot see beyond the skin colour of the accused. I believe that the actions that Carl Lee Hailey did was justified as the two rapists Billy Ray Cobb and Pete…

The Tree of Life is a subtle film that intricately links together the world while discussing vast concepts. One such concept, the way of nature, is personified through Brad Pitt’s character; he is a man who acts in primal animalistic ways, and consistently lets these emotions get the better of him. This motif has been explored in many films prior to Terrence Malick’s masterpiece and previous directors’ efforts by no means come close to the beauty of Malick’s film. Many of the films of the past relied on caricatures of actual people in order to depict the primal nature of mankind and two films in particular, D.W. Griffith’s The Birth of a Nation and Robert Day’s Tarzan and the Great River, rely solely on non-white characters to get this point…

When I think of the 1980s, I think of a decade that produced exceptional music, entertaining television, and some great films that are still praised and relevant in today’s hard-to-impress society. About 35 years ago, films with short cinematic plots and cutting-edge cinematic effects started to gain popularity in the film industry, because they were easily marketable to a broad audience. Many popular films of the ‘80s were also violent, leading to concerns over which films were appropriate for certain age demographics, which I will be exploring later. Until the 1980s, action films were not a dominant genre. In the ‘70s, action movies typically focused on individualist police officers.…

Since the beginning of humanity, people have been trying to understand themselves. To achieve this, they have made near endless amounts of observations and amassed them to form a relatively good understanding of themselves. Most of these observations, however, have been made within societies and therefore most of the knowledge deals with civilized humans. On the contrary, the Bathtub depicted in The Beasts of the Southern Wild represents humanity separate from society. The people of the bathtub, including Wink, Hushpuppy, and their friends, are cut off from the rest of the world by a levee and are thereby detached from all laws.…
