Each person has a different background and circumstances so for some people all of these markers should occur before 30 in order to be considered an adult, or others like me might only believe a few of them are absolutely necessary in early adulthood. I do not agree with the idea that a person needs to have a child before the age of 30 in order to be considered an adult, having a baby should happen only when you feel you are ready to take on that responsibility and for some that might be sooner than others. Personally I believe that moving out of of parents’ home is definitely a marker for becoming an adult and shows that the person is independent enough to manage their lives away from their parents and be able to support themselves. Getting a job with good benefits is also an accomplishment I would consider to be a definite adult marker. Having the safety of a good job makes a person comfortable to move forward and make other big decisions. I believe that getting married, like having a baby, is something you need to make sure you are ready for, it should be a bonus to the life you have already built. My opinion on this article was that it was very accurate and I agree with what it was saying about the new generation because the points mentioned are things I can see everyday in my friends, myself and society. Growing up and becoming an adult is becoming more complicated nowadays and it is something I believe people are struggling
