Age Discrimination In The Workplace

Picture people walking into a room and the first thing that happens is they get put into groups by how they look. Then in those groups they get put into new groups by their age. Once in this final groups, the "better" or "higher" groups get more and better things, as the groups below them don't get as much, or nothing at all. Everyday people around the world experience this type of feeling from children to adults. The world is beginning to become overrun by discrimination and injustice. One type of discrimination is age. It is important to note that there are laws from keeping everyone safe, making it so you have to be a certain age to do something. The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 was created for people in the workplace over 40 so they will be treated the same. Another reason is that everyone is either seen as "too young" or "too old." People get put into different categories depending on their age. Some places of work especially will consider firing you if you exceed the age of 40, while others won't consider you if you are too young or inexperienced enough because of how young someone is. First, many student take their schools food for granite. Students complain about school lunch everyday because it's "gross" and then will not eat it. Schools get phone calls from parents yelling at them about how they aren't feeding Thor children, when really it's the students fault for not eating the food that somewhere another kid is dying from starvation. Even so, restaurants waste tons of food daily. There are people around the world living off bugs, tree bark, and dirt, while places like these are throwing good food away. On a positive note, people everywhere are taking action about this and setting up food drives. Food drives help collect food and give it to those in need around the world. To conclude, hunger has gotten terribly worse, but many are helping to make this issue
