Presently, I am studying ag-business at DMACC. It is demanding at times, however, it encourages me motivate myself to set both long term and short term goals. With my busy school schedule, it has taught me how to plan in advance so then I am ready and organized for everything that comes my way. Throughout the spring I worked for a company called Pinnacle. My experience with the company presented me with multiple viewpoints of the agricultural field. I practiced things that I have never done that I did not know existed in the agricultural field. During the summer I had the pleasure to work alongside my grandfather on his farm. My grandfather showed me that there is much more to operating a farm than just doing the labor. It is more than a full time job; it is a lifestyle. I anticipate the opportunity to receive a job a month after I graduate with my degree.
