The Curse of Afterdark
After Dark the old building off Lilly and Joy was set to make its reopening on that rainy night of November 2nd 2015. At 10 p.m. sharp which is when the club opened the line was already horribly long, stretching all the way to Splitz Gymnastics. Towards the front of the line was a young man named Tilly Brainor. This was the only High School Club in town and Tilly could not have been more excited. He was smart, well-mannered, and dressed very nicely, but he always seemed to find himself in mysterious situations. Tilly was waiting in the line with his three friends including Pylan Datel, an brown eyed indian fellow who always had the right answers.

Only about a 10 minute trip, but this 10 minute ride was very important. Here is where LeeJay finally admitted the truth about her life. “I have to be honest with you,” she said, “I’m not a junior at Salem. I’m actually a 34 year old who was just looking to have some fun. Please do not tell my husband.” And just like that she opened the door and walked into the house. Tilly was in 100% shock and disbelief. The next day Tilly still couldn't believe what happened, but he was kind of into LeeJay so he decided to text her but he got no response. So he decided to call her instead, but the number was disconnected. Very devastated, Tilly drove to Pylan’s house. “Hey Pylan,” Tilly said. “ So you saw the girl I was with yesterday. I think she gave me the wrong number, what do I do?” “What are you talking about,” Pylan responded, “You were by yourself yesterday Tilly. Everyone saw you dance by yourself, and you were even kissing the air over by the chairs at one point.” Thinking his friend was messing with him, Tilly became super upset and left. He drove up to After Dark himself to talk to the manager, Sosh Julak, a wealthy arab man, with slicked back …show more content…
“Sosh,” he yelled, “I need your help I might this lovely asian girl last night and my friends don’t believe me. Her name is LeeJay.” Tilly pulled out his phone and showed Sosh the phone number that was discontinued, and Sosh knew the number at the first glance. “LeeJay is back?” he said, “that’s the reason we had to shut down in the first place. She is the legend of After Dark. When the club first opened 18 years ago, a young woman was dancing with a hispanic guy she met, and really liked. She dropped him off home, and in that car ride the man admitted he was married. The next day she tried calling him but she received the wrong number. She drank heavily that night crying, wishing somehow she could get back at the guy who deceived her, but unfortunately she drank herself to death. Now every time LeeJay appears she comes back into a random ethnic women who looks younger than she is and always leads guys on, then when they drop her off home, she ceases to exist, so they feel the same pain she
