The text or call hotline would also offer vouchers for transportation via Uber, taxi, or volunteers for those who relay they are impaired. Since the initiation of Uber, many riders use it when intoxicated and some cities such as Atlanta have seen a reduction in DUI arrests (USA Today, 2016).
Fundraising, requests for community support and grant writing would be done at the center in effort to raise funds that would cover the cost of treatment of those without funding, legal assistance, transportation and housing assistance, along with other social support needs. Treatment would be billed to contracted providers or provided at low or no cost to those without benefits. A collaboration would be done with the local coordinated care organization (CCO), baseline data obtained, and services provided to their members. He said that you have to offer safe options. He said that kids are bored and there is nothing exciting to do, so they make their own excitement. He said we should offer them exciting programs and activities and state/post they are drug/alcohol free when teens arrive, not beforehand. He relayed that they take that as a challenge, and they like parent/adult challenges. He said we should state the consequences of having drugs/alcohol at the event on a board at entry. He recommended offering free concerts, free entrance nights to game arcades, open nights to swimming, bowling, and movies. He also recommended organized picnics, swimming, bonfires, with transportation provided (Andersen, 2018). These kinds of activities would be expensive and would take community support or be grant
