After Meg suicided, Cody encountered a lot of things that she hasn't known about Meg. When she finds them out one by one, the book gets interesting and impressive. The biggest thing I'm wondering is that why didn't she talked about her painful life and didn't ask for help. Or maybe Cody didn't pay much attention to Meg and ignored what she tried to say. If Cody listened to her hurtful story, it could've prevented her death. The time when Cody went to Meg's university, to pack her stuff, is when the rising action started. At the boarding house, she met Meg's roommates. She learned about a guitar player, Ben McCallister. She remembered him from Meg talking about his blue eyes. But she hasn't met him by face to face.
