After High School

Deciding what I want to do after high school can be a tough choice since there is a few options specifically attending college, joining the military, getting a job or just staying in your parents house forever. With these options comes with multiple cons and pros but I finally decided. After high school, I decided I want to attend college since going to college before getting a job or joining the military seems the best choice for me.
The importance of going to college are talked about in the article “Importance of College Education.” It listed multiple reasons why going to college after high school is a smart choice. One of the reason that was given is getting a higher education. Getting a better education is one of my priorities since it will come in handy in the future when I am truly independent. Attending college and getting a higher education comes with paying a huge amount of money that will range to hundreds to thousands of dollars depending what school you got into. This wasn’t mentioned in the article but this is one of the minor reason of mine for going to college. Living away from home helps us to be more independent so we can prepare ourselves for when we move out completely from our parents’ house to our own space. After all the years that we spent in our parents’ house with them fending for us and helping us with our problems results in dependence. Being dependent on other people will lead to a less bright future but in college, you will learn to fend for yourself, acquire more skills for real life which is a good thing especially when applying for a job after college graduation. This skills will get you throughout college and life after
