Farmers are a big part of why these dogs are endangered. Farmers kill these dogs out of fear. They fear that the wild dog will harm or kill their livestock. Another reason is habitat loss. The African Wild Dog is being pushed into national parks were they can’t be harmed. But the wild dog does not liked to be confined. So sometimes they wander off the national park terrane and get hurt or killed. According to NationalGeographic.com “African wild dogs are threatened by shrinking space to roam in their African home. They are also quite susceptible to diseases spread by domestic animals”.
