African Slavery Effects

African slavery in the Atlantic World leads to many problems that have occurred and that are still occurring in everyday life as we know it. The effects of this event have caused many African families to be torn apart and racial differences became an issue within the use of African slaves and even after slavery was banned. A major reason Europeans leaned toward Africans to use as slaves rather than Indentures was because the Africans were immune to tropical diseases. They were used to the tropical climate, unlike the Indentures who have a very light skin pigment and are not used to the tropical weather and diseases. They contributed to the economic and cultural developments of the Americas, many of the colonies might not have even survived without the hard labor that the slaves had to do. They also brought their expertise in agriculture, cultural beliefs, art, music, religion, and food into the Americas, influencing many. The Americas population also has a high rate of African-Americans due to the amount of African slaves that were brought here.
Another result of the African Slave trade in the Atlantic World was the rise of racism. The Europeans believed that they were superior to the Africans due to the fact that they were white and because they were Christians. This effect would alter a whole new lifestyle between the colored and whites for many years after slavery was banned.
The African slave trade in the Atlantic World spurred a vast amount of problems in the past and in current time. Many Africans lifeś were torn apart due to the Europeans wants and desires to colonize the new land that was found. Africanś sculpted and helped form the culture that arose in the Americas, without the African slaves back-breaking labor, the Americas may not have even been colonized or let alone
