In American culture, meetings and events are scheduled by doing one thing at a time. For example, people like to concentrate on one task before moving on to something else. They will get angry if someone tries to get them distracted by bringing up a subject that is not related to what they are doing. Meanwhile, the African people are not tied to time and are usually very accepting of distractions. Schedules are not as important and they are also very frequently ignored. In Africa most people are frequently late for appointments or may not even show up at all. Africans are very educated and most complete higher learning education. In American culture there are only a few educated people. In Africa most people go beyond masters if they have the money for school. Most Americans drop out of school before high school and do not want to attend college because of the money.
