Ethics means with making moral decisions. “Mascots” uses irony to prove the racism behind certain mascots, “Lather and Nothing Else” is about a man choosing whether to kill or not, and “Savior Child” is about parents having a second kid to give their body to the first kid.
To begin using Native Americans as mascots is inappropriate because people are not bringing them to justice for the honor they once had. In this article, Maura Dickey persuades parents of a savior child that live organ harvesting is wrong because the child should be able to choose. This article is stating that live organ harvesting is wrong and the savior child is not treated fair. The author explains why this is wrong “until the child can provide informed consent or make a conscious decision about what to do with her body parts”(2). The child should be able to consent. This is important because they have a right to choose what to do with their body and nobody for take advantage of children .
