Scholars argue that African American culture influences its members to care more about the family and other groups than white culture does. Many of the different cultures although they understand English, the African American culture has somewhat of a language of their own. Although actual verbal communication is an issue, the nonverbal communication is also an issue. African American have endowed a language of their own. The language favored as Ebonics are a mixture of slang and embedded meaning in short words or sayings. Unless you are educated in the language, it would be difficult for anyone other than African American to understand what is being said. Although we understand how others communicate, the meaning is sometimes challenging.Our understanding of views maybe totally different than those of another
