African-Americans have faced many prejudice and racial discrimination throughout American history, but those obstacles did not stop them from proving to white America why they have the right to be part of American society. African-Americans have shaped part of American culture. They have contributed to society in many factors; ranging from literature to Science. Over the past centuries African-Americans contribution has been vastly overshadowed. Nonetheless, the wide spread impact and advancements of African-Americans in Science and technology have generated an immense importance into the commodities that we have today.
