All Australian’s should volunteer, to help your community and your peers.
We as the affirmative team believe that all Australians should volunteer for a period of their life because of the reasons my team members listed.

Our first speaker, Anna, spoke about how all Australian citizens between the age of 18 and 45 should do at least 40 hours of volunteer work in their life..

Anna also told us about how volunteering benefits vulnerable members of our society such as the elderly. Some grandparents look after their grandchildren

I have not had the opportunity to work in a team environment with Grantham during the course of my studies. However, I have been involved in numerous teams throughout my lifetime, working in both formal and informal teams. I have learned that an informal team emerges when a group of people with shared common interests comes together naturally on a regular basis. This year is remarkable for so many reasons: • In July 2015, Literacy Connections became the lead agency of the Hudson Valley Literacy Consortium serving six counties: Dutchess, Columbia, Greene, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster. We are extremely excited about this new role and look forward to strengthening our collaboration with our sister organizations and exploring all the possibilities that this new role offers. • Thanks to the Dyson Foundation, the Hudson Valley Literacy Consortium (HVLC) is close to wrapping up its collaboration analysis with an independent consultant. The study’s conclusion (in a few months) should outline the possible paths that could lead the HVLC to savings, efficiency improvements…
