In fact, I often bear in my mind that every adverse effect in any medical procedure is always possible no matter how professional you are. But it is actually a matter of prevention and making sure the one who performs the procedure is well trained and experienced before any administration to patients. Medical ethics that had been taught along the route of becoming licensed doctors, nurses and dentists require practicing and time to engage in routine work, paramedics (non-doctors) and dental hygienists would have least of these when performing such interventions with patients. Practical clinical skills are also crucial and this is where the hygienists probably lack of. The technical skills in botox and dermal fillers injections likewise affect the outcome of the treatment largely. Moreover, any administrator should be aware of both non-serious and serious complications as a consequence to botox and dermal filler injection, and be prepared to take appropriate action according to the events. In other words, it is not problematic to train a particular health care professional beside doctors how to inject botox and fillers, but how to manage a patient’s emergency condition is more important. From my point of view, apart from plastic surgeons, dermatologists and general practitioners, I think dentists should be able to provide proper botox and dermal filler
