Ever since I was a small child, I loved learning about space and the things that happen in it. I started memorizing constellation by the time I was five, and I received my first telescope when I was eight. When I was a senior in high school, I took astronomy to see if I was really interested in going into a field that had to deal with space. I loved this class, it was one of my favorite classes during my senior year. However, it showed me I did not want to be an astronomer. I learned that astronomers have to wait for at least ten years to get a single result, this was not for me. I could not see myself waiting so long to get one result. So, I searched for another career that deals with space but has little wait time to see results. After a lot of research, I found aerospace engineering. I also knew that I wanted to double major and at first, my second major was going to be physics. However, a family friend, who happens to work in the field I want to go into, advised me that it would be difficult to get a job with the match-up of those two degrees. He advised me to look into computer sciences. After doing some research, I decided that it would be the smart choice for my career goals. It also helps that after taking a class, I realized that I love computer

The 101st Airborne met little resistance and captured four of the five bridges assigned to them. The Germans destroyed the bridge over the Wilhelmina Canal at Son just as the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR) neared the objective (Badsey, 1993, p. 41). The Bailey bridge, a portable, prefabricated bridge developed by the British, constructed over the canal was not finished until the morning of the 19th (Badsey, 1993, p. 56).…

My parents, facing many difficulties, had to make a choice: stay in Iran and attempt to survive the war, or immigrate to the United States to create a better quality of life for themselves and their future children. They chose the latter and, with much toil, travelled to the United States and began a new life. Growing up, a huge motivator in my life was the constant reminder of the sacrifices my parents had made. I’ve made it a priority to repay them by dedicating my utmost to all that I do, but somehow my utmost is never sufficient and I feel that I am…

Science is about discovering new laws and facts, but engineering is about making new things. Computer Science professionals are primarily focussed on developing improvised solutions for users, hence these professionals can be better referred to as Toolsmiths rather than Computer scientists. A Toolsmith is successful only when his tool users are benefitted and satisfied with the tool. This very expectation holds correct in our case too. We succeed only when the solutions developed by us are useful, easy and makes the users faster and better.…
