Everyone has a dream, to follow in life, something to work towards. Aerosmith’s, Dream On, portrays the importance of never giving up on dreams. Steven Tyler says, “It’s about the hunger to be somebody: Dream until your dreams come true.” This really explains the meaning of the song because everyday people wake up and pursue to be the person they want to be and never give up on what they want until they have it. Also, the song Dream On is the single that ironically saved Aerosmith from being dropped from their label. This is ironic because without this song their dreams would have failed, but this song gave hope for their future as a band to keep following their dreams.
