With obesity being a major problem in the United States, there seems to be many answers. Resolutions such as surgery, fad diets, and pills can be effective but often lead to not fixing the main problem. Not changing bad habits are the reason why obesity exists so high in America. Often time habits can come and go , but its when the bad ones stay is when its a problem. However, adding good habits to a routine can help benefit many aspects that the bad habits cannot. Exercise in an everyday agenda can help a person live a healthier and longer life, contribute to weight loss, prevent certain diseases and health risks, and can also be used as a stress reliever. Avoiding these excuses can be hard but it important because exercise is a very important factor and can reasonably be achieved. It is recommended that a person gets " at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise each week" (Magill’s Medical Guide, 2016). Aerobic exercise , also known as cardio , is a simple activity a person can integrate in their daily routine. The benefit of aerobic workouts is that they don 't require weights from the gym or any special equipment. These exercises usually consist of high repetitions and using a person 's own body weight. Adding this type of exercise will do a lot for a person over a period of time. Home exercise can be a good option when exercise at a gym or in the neighborhood is not available. Excuses may come into play where a person does not know how to work out or exercises that will help. Using the internet, however can help lead a person in the right direction in what exercises they can attempt in a short amount of time. With the better understanding of how easy some exercises can be other excuses, such as being intimidated or uncomfortable with the idea of working out, can no longer be thought of. What they fail to realize that an effective short workout could in reality do just that. With exercising the heart, lungs, circulatory system, joints, and muscles in a person 's body can be impacted. When performing cardio the heart automatically starts working harder in pumping blood throughout the body. This makes the heart stronger than what originally was. The lungs work hand in hand with the heart. When exercising the lungs bring oxygen into the body and gets rid of the carbon dioxide when producing energy. By doing this, muscles are working harder to keep up with the demand and breathing becomes a vital key of an effective workout. By staying active your breathing reserve becomes larger, which can prevent the out of breath feeling unhealthy people get. The circulatory system is also effects by exercise. "A long-term response to exercise is the building of new capillaries so more oxygen can be delivered to, and more carbon dioxide can be removed from, your working muscles."(Troosters, Dupont, Bott, Hansen ,2016) Muscles grow and can become more beneficial depending on the workout. Just because a workout may not involve heavy lifting or an intense amount of activity 's ,doesn 't mean muscles can 't still benefit from it.
