Aeries Student Information System Case Study

The Livingston Union School District recognizes the need for all students and instructional staff to have regular access to reliable technology tools during and outside of the school day. Currently, every teacher has access to an internet connected computer and projection capability. In addition, every teacher has access to at least one internet ready mobile device. Other technology tools include printers and document cameras. Administrative and office staff also have a dedicated computer, individual email accounts and internet access. All classrooms and offices have broadband wireless internet access.

Recognizing the value of collaborative tools to the planning and instructional processes, every teacher has a Google account for administrative and instructional use. There has been an increase in the use of Google applications for communication, productivity and collaboration at all grade levels.

Aeries Student Information System (SIS) is used district wide. Aeries Gradebook is used to track student attendance and record grades. Teachers have access to Aeries Gradebook and parents have access to student grades and attendance through the Aeries Parent
