In this chapter I learned the level of advocacy and I think during my job as nursing assistant I used the DESC Methodology without to know it is. I tried during my job performance to observe the patients effect the description, expression my opinion with the nurses and give my suggestion for the specification of change. The only time is not possible is utilized the consequences of that observation that needs to wait for the supervisor approve.
I am a person who have the advocacy in my blood, and I love that, maybe it was one the reason I choose the OT profession. I am advocating in my job, in my family, in my student life a lot. It is very helpful learned about the legislation and how I can improve my capacity for better advocate for myself
