Most importantly the US federal policy contributed to medical neoliberalism when the reinterpretation of US regulation governing the pharmaceutical industry’s right to advertise its products to prospective patients in addition to the managed care existed. These changes in the politics, economics, and culture of health care in the US have succeeded in re-centralizing power toward pharmaceutical companies and insurance providers and away from physicians. In America today, advertisers will do anything possible to try and attract new potential customers and to keep them is their goal. Even if it means attracting customers from other countries and pitching them the concept of something so powerful known as, “The American Dream.” Yes, advertisers will even go to that extent to get people from foreign countries to immigrate to the United States to live out the American dream, or in other words, a better life for themselves and/or their families; in addition, the potential customers are stuck with the idea that marketers and advertisements pitched them that if they come to America and work hard, they will make it in America and become wealthy or live a very comfortable life than the previous one they lived. Now don 't get me wrong, many including my father, who came from Mexico, have lived the American dream and have succeeded in the United States. However, advertisers pitch these foreigners with fancy cars, wicked clothes, and state of the art houses, something that may not be so common in their home country, to try…

Advertisements as a Genre Commercial advertisement is a genre directed to all people. Although all commercials fall under the same genre, there are many different techniques the author can take, depending on the purpose of the commercial and the audience that the author wants to reach. This shows the audience that if the company is able to have someone famous represent them, they must be legitimate. Also, it allows people to think they can have the perfect life, just like their favorite role model.…
