Sex is an exciting topic, which is why advertisement firms enjoy luring in customers with its deception. It is a little interesting that Olay chose an attractive and naked female model to help sell a product intended for women since these images typically appeal more to men. The one explanation that I can think of for this would be appearance. When a woman looks at this ad, she sees a beautiful model using the Olay body wash. This might make her think that buying the body wash will help her be more like the model. Self-esteem plays its own role in the world of ad analysis.
