The article written by Baker et al. (2004) discussed adverse affects cause by health care management, this study reveled shocking results related to health care management adverse effects before admission, during admission and after admission (Baker et al., 2004). One of the results that were alarming is that 41.6% of adverse effects are preventable (Baker et al., 2004). Although the study indicated 64.4% of adverse effects did not result in physical disability and required minimum to moderate recovery less than 6 months (Baker et al., 2004), these statistics from a health care providers perspective are unacceptable.
