GOSH! I’m so sick of school. We barely get any breaks and the amount of pressure put on us due to all of the work is overwhelming. On our traditional school schedule we have short breaks and i’m always sluggish during classes, due to exhaustion of school. Also, during summer break we have to make up our snow days when we should be released until next year. Year round schooling is a good idea, because you get refreshed during the break, you have time to make up snow days, and you get to look back on memorable moments. First and foremost, year round schools are a good idea because, students could get longer, and more frequent breaks. For example, being behind in school leads to bad grades and failing classes. However, being able to make up tests and quizzes helps not only the students but the teachers as well. During spring break, year rounds schools take a three week break to makeup for snow days which helps relieve the amount of stress put on them.
Some people argue that traditional schools are more beneficial because it is not clear that year round schools make good outcomes. They believe that year round schooling gives out too many breaks. However, during year round schools they get more refreshed because of those breaks. For example, studies show that students and staff come back to school more prepared. Because, year round schools have three week breaks the school has more time to get refreshed and come back focused. This is important because not being focused leads to being distracted and failing the class.
