Making questions for your self will help yourself understand the information that you are consuming and will help for your short term memory process the information so that it can transfer to your long term memory. While reading the text and consuming the information you might come across where you don’t understand something make a question out of it so that when you read more into the chapter it might pop up again and will have the answer for it. This is a way so that the information will make more sense and will stick in your long term memory so when it comes to studying you don’t have to try and remember everything some of it is all read memorized. “Write questions to give purpose to the main idea of the topic and to improve concentration on what you are comprehending.” This will help with comprehending the information more and will allow the brain to process the information better and put it into your long term …show more content…
“It is important to review the material to understand and remember it.” By remember the information by going over it many times your brain will process it better and you will understand it better. In the review section go over the questions you had made make sure you have answered all of them, if not go back and try to find the answers. This is crustal because these questions that you might have had may be the ones on your test and it would be beneficial to have the answer so you don’t have to wing that question. Why reviewing the chapter make new questions so that you can get a more in depth understanding on what the text was all about and this could be a way to study for tests on that chapter. “Review each time you study will eliminate the need to “cram” for tests.” This is a great habit to have it minimizes the stress that you could have and helps with memorizing things in more
