All Saudi students should learn English language to can study in a university because of the subjects in English. Hanadi Abdelsalam writes that in public schools the English language is foreign language and students who study in public schools will start learn English in 6th grade. One the other hand, students who study in private schools start to learn English from kindergarten level. Learning English from low level helps students to learn English very well and they will speak English fluently (Abdelslam). Although the author does not consider this to be a major obstacle, English is an obstacle for students who study in public schools because they did not learn and practice English for long time and it is hard for them to speak English in the university or even understand the professors when they talk .For example, most students who study in public schools travel to U.S.A or UK after they graduated from secondary school to learn English and they spend a lot of money for that. However, students who study in private schools are not going to face problems with English because they start learning English from 7 years old. Starting English from kindergarten is one of the important reasons that makes me believe that private schools are better than public
