8) Servers can play different roles for different clients.[5]

V. DISADVANTAGES OF CLIENT SERVER MODEL WHEN COMPARED WITH PEER TO PEER
1) Congestion in Network :Too many requests from the clients may lead to congestion, which rarely takes place in P2P network. Overload can lead to breaking-down of servers. In peer-to-peer, the total bandwidth of the network increases as the number of peers increase.
2) Client-Server architecture is not as robust as a P2P and if the server fails, the whole network goes down. Also, if you are downloading a file from server and it gets abandoned due to some error, download stops altogether. However, if there would have been peers, they would have provided the broken parts of file.
3) Cost : It is very expensive to install and manage this type of computing.
4) You need professional IT people to maintain the servers and other technical details of network.[5]

OMIS 660 Business Computing Environment and Network Lab - 1 REPORT TCP: Transmission Control Protocol SUMMARY: The idea of TCP congestion control is for each sender to determine the available capacity in the network so that it knows how many packets can be safely transmitted. The congestion window is a state variable for each connection which is used by the sender to limit how much data a sender can transmit into the network before receiving an acknowledgement. This report consist of the simulation of different model of TCP transmission which demonstrates the congestion control using the variation of dynamic window size implemented by TCP (Transmission Control Protocol). Various models are considered where packet drop rates are varied for demonstration of different situations from…

When it comes to limitations there are quite a few. Some of these limitations are things like the screen size and resolution, the application should be designed to automatically adjust to the size of screen you have because nowadays you can watch things on a variety of screen sizes, however a lot of older applications don’t and the older ones tend to be smaller than today so they will tend to have a thick black border around them this is because it was designed on a screen that size and wasn’t designed to adjust for example: This is called ‘Symbols 1916 lest we forget’ Furthermore other limitations could be memory space/ capacity as the end product may have a large file size and the user may not have enough space for it, this would be an inconvenience…
