Online classes is beneficial for many students, but to be successful a student needs to know themselves and their learning habits. There are pros and cons to traditional class rooms and online learning. Introducing hybrid classes to students allow the student to take full advantage of both face to face interaction with peers and instructor, and online work as well. A student maybe having a hard time understanding an assignment, and need additional help. In a strictly online course the student have to email their instructor and may or may not get a response right when they needed. The pros to the hybrid course is, the student will be able to communicate face to face with their instructor or peer to get a better understanding of their assignment. Consider a full time parent that work 40 plus hours a week, and have a far commute to the college. It would only be logical to purse your degree online, but the student know that they aren’t as strong in a particular subject. A hybrid course would better suit the student because they are able to commute to the campus maybe once a week to get the help they need. Online courses are convenient because students sometimes can’t commute to school every day, or work too many hours.
