Despite the bad press they receive, they do help the community in several ways. They inform us about pressing news and serve as another method to check on public officials if they are carrying out their duties responsibly. The saying that strength lays in number is extremely true in politics. The larger the interest group is the more the impact it will make. Together we stand stronger and together we make a difference. Our voice shall not be silent, it shall be heard. Each interest group expresses a different or similar concern, but they all aim for the same goal; to improve our nation.
