Why hybrid?
There are many reasons and advantages or benefits to use a hybrid car. Some of the following are as under:
1. A battery, powered electric motor enhance the fuel efficiency of hybrids in a number of ways.
2. There is a feature that turns off the car's conventional engine when the vehicle is stopped and save the fuel.
3. The breaking system in a hybrid car is also a fuel-saving feature. This regenerative breaking system save the energy to recharge the battery.
4. Automatically shuts off the engine when car is stopped is also a fuel saving feature.
5. Unlike gas powered cars, hybrid cars do not emit polluted gas. A gas powered engine and an electric motor make a hybrid car that has a better gas mileage and lower emissions.
6. Since hybrid cars are a lot cleaner and need less fossil fuel to operate and run them, they help reduce the dependence on foreign oil and do their part to lower prices domestically.
7. A hybrid car produces 20% to 35% less in carbon di oxide emissions than regular cars, and mostly good for the healthy environment because it is has a second electric battery powered engine which recharges via the petrol engine.
