Charismatic leadership is theory that states that followers make attribution of heroic or extraordinary leadership abilities when they observe certain behaviors. Charismatic leadership can transform organization by motivating subordinates to higher level of commitment and performance. Charismatic leader can be inspiring them with an appealing vision and influence their subordinates. This dark side can increase the risk level to organization and threaten the well-being of subordinates. Many charismatic but corrupt leaders have allowed their personal goals to override the goals of their organization. They used organization resources for their personal benefit and violate laws and ethic. If charisma is the power, then that power can be used for good or for bad. They can used the power to convince the followers for achieve their personal goals.
