One way a business engages their audience is by using the very common feature on almost all the main social media platforms, Hashtags. The hashtag gives consumers a direct link to a page of other posts also under the same hashtag. This is an effective way to increase traffic to their page or to spread word around the new product or brand.
As you can see, Netflix have used hashtags to increase awareness for the new series that they have released. In order for them to promote the show, they have used the hashtag

Jozui supports her argument by first describing multiple examples of celebrity endorsed products. She continues by explaining how the audience is influenced by the celebrity. Jozui’s purpose is to convince consumers to boycott this type of advertisement so that the consumer is not insulted or misled. She establishes a critical tone for the consumers of the product. Companies should be able to promote their products how they wish because it’s the consumer’s responsibility to research the product and make decisions based on the quality of the product rather than the celebrity endorsers.…
